TicWatch GTH Review- One of the Cheapest Smartwatch.

Smartwatches have become a new trend, either for their convenient benefits or the style statement they provide. Whatever the reason may be behind their popularity, there is no denying that the technology is here to stay and has only just begun. The latest addition to the shelves is the TicWatch GTH, a brand new smartwatch that comes with skin temperature sensors and exceptional battery life, all at a reasonable price range. Interesting, isn’t it? Let’s take a deeper look into this fancy product by Mobvoi.

What’s Special About It?

The TicWatch GTH is supposedly a budget-friendly remake of the TicWatch Pro, which was much loved by its consumer audience. It’s got the price point as well as numerous other add-ons like a pulse oximeter and a temperature sensor. The watch tracks your sleep cycles and monitors your light and deep sleep patterns throughout the night.

Looks And Aesthetics

At first glance, the TicWatch GTH looks very much like an Apple Watch. It has a minimalist design and comes with a rectangular packaging/case similar to the Apple Watch 6. However, that is pretty much the only similarity the two smartwatches have. GTH has a larger bezel than Apple 6; the former comes with a 1.55 inches LCD while the latter has an AMOLED display of 1.78 inches.

The smartwatch is easy to maneuver with its touchscreen and a single button to perform various functions. Moreover, the band is stylish and sturdy and comes in black color only. Overall, the aesthetics of the watch are one of the best things about it.

Tech And Software

Sadly, this is where the watch disappointed most of its audiences. The features, performance, and software of the TicWatch GTH have much room for improvement. The watch offers basic features like pre-installed and third-party apps and only shows a limited portion of every notification, which is quite annoying. In addition, there is no GPS on the watch, nor does it have all the fantastic features that the TicWatch Pro did. While the skin sensor and heart rate monitor are good add-ons, they do not compensate for all that the smartwatch lacks.

Benefits (Pros)

It has good battery life.

The watch looks chic on the wrist.

A bright display ensures easy visibility.

It offers good tracking during sleep.

Drawbacks (Cons)

The watch has limited features.

Its charger has design issues.

Tracking during exercise is flawed.

It lacks GPS.

TicWatch GTH- A Hit Or Miss?

The audiences expected the budget-friendly version of the TicWatch Pro watch to be equally outstanding in terms of performance but slightly less pressing on the pocket. However, keeping their expectations in mind, the new launch is quite a miss since it lacks the predecessor’s performance, accuracy, and features. So, for those looking for an accurate smartwatch to measure their physiological changes through the day, it would be a much better option to spend those few extra bucks on the TicWatch Pro and skip GTH altogether.
