Samsung has never been disappointed with its smartphone technology, and we’re all pretty aware of that by now. However, every new launch comes with its own set of new and old characteristics, surprisingly satisfying benefits, and annoying drawbacks. Recently, the internationally-recognized company has introduced a brand new phone, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. So let’s take a quick look at what they’ve brought to the table this time, shall we?

Release Date

14th of January 2021

What’s New?

The newest Samsung masterpiece comes with both hardware and software updates. The 5G phone comes with whopping 11.5-hour battery life and double telephoto lenses, including 10x optical zoom and 3x optical zoom. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also supports the S Pen, a bonus for both style and convenience. As for the price point, while it is still over $1000, the S10 Ultra is still about $200 less than its predecessor, S20 Ultra.

Tech And Software

First and foremost, the fingerprint sensor is more prominent and makes unlocking the smartphone much easier than the previous ones. Moreover, the phone’s performance is also a plus because, boy, this phone is fast! It is also one of the very first and few smartphones powered by the 888 Snapdragon chip by Qualcomm. The 12/16GB RAM complements the system even more.

Looks And Aesthetics

If you are all about the phone’s looks, you will be happy to see what Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra looks like. (Even if you’re not really into smartphone aesthetics, if you’re going to buy a phone this expensive, you might as well be!) The smartphone comes with a contour cut design around the camera, where the bumps blend into the phone’s glass cover. The screen is curved ever so gently, so it is not annoying to the eye but gives a subtle style to the phone. It is available in two beautiful colors, Phantom Black and Phantom Silver. However, the company also offers some exclusive colors for the phone, including Phantom Brown, Phantom Titanium, and Phantom Navy.

As for the display, S21 Ultra offers a 6.8-inch AMOLED Dynamic display, which is supposedly one of the best we have ever used! Unlike the phone’s predecessor, you don’t have to choose between a high refresh rate and a high resolution; you get both. The phone brings a vibrant, bright, and clear display to your table, regardless of what you are watching.
