Nokia X100 Smartphone Launched With Quad Rear Cameras

HMD Global owned smartphone brand Nokia has launched a new smartphone Nokia X100 in the U.S. market. The Nokia X100 shares similar specifications to the Nokia X10. Talking about the highlights, Nokia X100 has 5G support, Full HD+ Display, Quad Rear Camera setup, etc. Here in this article, I have explained everything you should know about this newly launched smartphone.

Right off the bat, The Nokia X100 boasts a large 6.67-inches Full HD+(1080×2400) Display. The Nokia X100’s Display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Nokia has gone with a Hole Punch Display to shrink the top bezels still at the front bottom. The bezels are noticeable and feature Nokia branding. The overall design is quite good, and the smartphone looks incredible in the official renders.

Moving onto Imaging, The Nokia X100 has a Quad Rear Camera setup. Nokia is certainly catching up with the latest smartphone camera trends. The sensors used are a 48MP primary sensor, 5MP Ultrawide lens, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. These sensors are in a circular camera array, and that looks very nice. There is also a led flash on the left of the camera module. Some of the exciting cameras features present in the device are ZEISS Optics, ZEISS Portrait, Night mode, HDR, Beautification, Watermark, etc. On the front, a 16MP sensor is for selfies and video calls.

Next up, as I mentioned earlier, Nokia X100 is a 5G capable smartphone. Nokia has used Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 platform, a 5G chip specially designed for budget smartphones. The Nokia X100 comes in a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option in terms of RAM and Storage. If you want more storage, it also supports an external Micro SD card slot supporting up to 1000GB.

On the software front, Nokia X100 boots Android 11. Nokia is known for timely Android updates, so that one can expect at least two major Android updates. The company has confirmed the smartphone will get monthly security updates for at least two years. Juicing up the device is a 4470mAh non-removable battery with support for 18W fast charging. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone has Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, Wi-Fi, etc. It features all the essential sensors, including a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Lastly, talking about the pricing and availability, Nokia hasn’t officially revealed the price of the Nokia X100. But as per the reports, it will be priced around $250 in the U.S. market. Although the price is not confirmed, the availability is 19th November. The device will go on sale starting 19th in one single color Midnight value.
