You all know that customers on Amazon use the search bar to find the product they want.

That allows promoting products to buyers, who actively search using related keywords or visit similar products on Amazon.

Brand Ads

That allows promoting a collection of products to buyers, who actively search with related keywords on Amazon.

Organic Results

Which shows the products that have in their product listing the keywords with which these buyers search.

Therefore, within the results page, Amazon first displays the ads (if there are any); and then the organic search results.

Based on these results, if a customer clicks on your ads, you would pay for each click, and that action is called PPC, which is equal to Pay-Per-Click.
